Our story
Built for merchants who make things.
hanut started with a simple problem: existing e-commerce platforms weren't built for merchants who make products to order. Our first client, Witty Creations, needed customers to personalise greeting cards before purchase — and needed those orders to flow directly into their print workflow.
Off-the-shelf solutions couldn't handle it. So we built something that could. That system ran in production for five years, processing thousands of orders and evolving with the business.
Every feature was built because a real merchant needed it. Every workflow was refined through actual use. The result is a platform that works the way merchants think.
When CopyQuick, a local printing and stationery business, needed reliable order management for high-volume bulk orders, hanut was ready. The platform that powered one business could power many.
Today, hanut serves merchants across Malta selling everything from bulk stationery to personalised products. The platform keeps growing, but the philosophy stays the same: build what merchants actually need, skip what they don't.

The name
hanut
“Ħanut” means “shop” in Maltese. Simple as that. We help merchants build their shop.
